I’m required to have a privacy policy in order to use Google Adsense. I don’t actively collect any information from my visitors at this point, so I don’t have a whole lot to say. Just in case, I’ll list some things that were suggested in this automatic privacy policy generator.

Log Files Like many other Web sites, n8henrie.com may make use of log files. I don’t think I do right now, but you should pretend like I do in case I change my mind at some point. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol ( IP ) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider ( ISP ), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track users movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses, and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.

Cookies and Web Beacons I don’t think I do at this point, but you should act as if n8henrie.com uses cookies. If I change my mind or find out that I am using them, I’ll update this policy to reflect. Cookies are used to store information about visitors preferences, record user-specific information on which pages the user access or visit, customize Web page content based on visitors browser type or other information that the visitor sends via their browser. Cookies are also delicious.

Advertising Partners

Some of my advertising partners may use cookies and web beacons. At the time of writing this privacy policy (Aug 22, 2012), my advertising partners include Google Adsense and Amazon.
