What a fantastically interesting social experiment!  Unheard in New York is a program that has given 4 homeless individuals Twitter acounts and a prepaid cell phone with a month of free text messages.

Looks like their tweets may a little difficult to decipher at first, but I think this is incredible.  What an opportunity to get inight into their lives!  According to the site, unemployment in NYC increased by 1/3 during 2009.  I haven't taken the time to verify if this is true or not (Step 1 of my boards is tomorrow), but I thought I'd take a quick minute to post this.  More thoughts later.
